Negative Calorie Foods
The widening waistline and increasing double chin have often forced you to lessen food intake. How you wish there were food items that lowered calories, rather than adding to them! Hold on a sec. Your wish is about to come true. There are certain food items that help in burning fat and add negative calories to your diet. You think I’m kidding! No, I’m not. Food items like lemon, asparagus and spinach are counted amongst those eatables that help you lower calories and burn fat.

You must be wondering how can a particular food result in the lowering of calories. We will tell you how. The negative calorie foods require much more calories to digest the calories that they have. For example, a food item contains 10 calories, but it requires the energy of 50 calories to digest those 10 calories. The net result is -40 calories. Since the body uses more energy to digest these foods than the amount consumed, the effect is burning of fat. Hence, the name fat burning foods!
