Sacred Heart Diet

Sacred Heart Diet

Weight loss is and will always remain a major problem for individuals, especially women. Everyone wants to maintain that hour-glass figure or those bulging biceps, but how to come back into shape is a question that continuously haunts them. These days, we see a large number of diets in the markets, all of them promising you the perfect bod. However, only a few amongst them deliver on their promises. One such diet is the Sacred Heart diet, a seven-day eating plan that promises to leave you lighter by atleast 10 pounds. Check out how to follow the Sacred Heart diet.

Sacred Heart Soup

One of the items that make up the Sacred Heart diet is the Sacred Heart soup. It is very healthy, totally fat-free and can be had anytime you feel hungry in the seven days of the diet. Infact, the best part of the soup is that the more you eat, the more you will lose. This is because you will need more calories, than the soup has, to digest it.

Ingredients
• 1 bunch of Celery
• 1 large can Beef Broth (fat-free)
• 1 packet Lipton Soup mix (chicken noodle)
• 1-2 cans of Tomatoes (stewed)
• 2 cans Green Beans
• 2 Green Peppers
• 2 lbs. Carrots
• 3-plus large Green Onions
• Salt, pepper, curry, parsley, bouillon & Worcestershire sauce (for seasoning)
Method
• Cut all the vegetables into small pieces.
• Put in a saucepan and cover with water.
• Bring to a boil and keep boiling for around 10 minutes.
• Reduce to simmer and continue cooking, till vegetables become tender.
• Season with salt, pepper, curry, parsley, bouillon or Worcestershire sauce, if you want.
Drinks

You can only have the following drinks during the seven days of your diet
• Coffee
• Fresh, unsweetened juices (especially Cranberry juice)
• Herbal Tea
• Skimmed Milk
• Water
The Diet Plan

Day One (Fruits Only)

On the first day of your diet, you have to stick to fruits only, with the exception of banana and mango. You can also have the soup mentioned above.

Day Two (Vegetables Only)

The second day will be exclusively reserved for vegetables. Just have veggies, be it raw, cooked or canned. It will be advisable to have green leafy vegetables and avoid dry beans, peas and corn.
